MapWorks 3.0 Released [01-18-2008]
We are happy to announce the next release of MapWorks. With this version the product moves from a loose collection of utilities to a complete multiple module system.

• Base module including map file import and export, symbol library, coordinate projections and dozens of mapping related tools.
• Design module contains centerline tools, curve solutions, parking layout tools and labels (that update when moved), etc.
• Legals module with deed reader (from text) and the best legal description writer available on any platform.
• Points module with AutoDraw (field to finish), traverse, point creation, editing, import/export of most industry standards.
• Sections module (includes profiles), can generate from objects in the drawing, points, sampling of multiple surfaces, etc.
• Surface module contains contouring (with labels), grid creation, volumes, spot elevations, slope arrows, point cloud tools, etc.

Requires AutoCAD, Land Desktop or Civil3D 2007 or higher.

GIS2DWG 3.0 Released [11-09-2009]
We have combined our third generation GIS file reading capabilities with the ability to write directly to a DWG or DXF file (no CAD required).  Even includes command line options for batch processing!  All the details on the GIS2DWG page.

Excel2DWG 5.1 Released [10-12-2009]
DotSoft has developed a revolutionary new way to solve the problem of placing Excel spreadsheets into CAD applications. The result is Excel2DWG.  We moved all the processing code inside Microsoft Excel, directly creating a DWG file.  You simply select your area of interest and click an icon to create the DWG file.  As changes are made, the DWG files are updated when the spreadsheet closes!

PDF2DWG 2.1 Released [10-05-2009]

Word2CAD 2.0 Released [05-25-2009]
This release brings speed and refinements to the core functionality as well as additional bonus tools to automate your AutoCAD to Word connectivity.  Fully compatible with the new AutoCAD 2010, including a ribbon interface.  All the details on the Word2CAD page.

ToolPac 12.0 Released [04-03-2009]

AutoCAD 2010 Compatibility [03-30-2009]
DotSoft has tested our current leading products and verified compatibility with the newest version of AutoCAD, version 2010.  Users of older versions of our products will likely require an upgrade to run with the newer versions of AutoCAD.

PdfImport 2.0 for AutoCAD [03-14-2009]
PdfImport has been completely rewritten with 64bit compatibility, faster preview, better support for embedded images, fills, lineweights and text along with increased stability.

New Pro version functionality includes PDF Manager which allows the user to assemble drawing books from multiple PDF or image files (with order control), export pages, images and text. Also create layouts in the current drawing from pages in a PDF or batch export a DWG file for each page in multiple PDF files.

XL2CAD 5.0 for Revit [12-18-2008]
Currently there are no good options for placing spreadsheets in Revit. DotSoft has addressed this issue by porting its popular AutoCAD Excel software, XL2CAD to the Revit environment.

XL2CAD for Revit provides an accurate representation of the spreadsheet, including text, lines, fills, etc. It also was designed to maintain links so that changes to the spreadsheet will show the next time the Revit project is opened.

In 1988 we sold our first software product.  After twenty years we are proud to say we have increased the productivity of thousands of designers.  We look forward to the future to expand on our accomplishments using the experience we've gained. XL2CAD 5.0 Released [07-30-2007]
DotSoft once again raises the bar on spreadsheet importing.  We supercharged our Excel read engine yielding an amazing speed increase of 30x faster.  Most sheet sized tables now process in less than one second!  We also added the ability to update tables embedded in xrefs, a tool to scan files, folders (or an entire drive) for drawings that need to be updated, and more!  Numerous other improvements in XL2CAD 5.0.

CorePro 3.0 Released [08-07-2006]
DotSoft revisits its roots with a new version of its Geology Management product, CorePro 3.0.  This new version runs inside AutoCAD 2000 or higher and allows users to rapidly enter and analyze borehole data.

The right tools for Microsoft Office
We have several tools that interact with Microsoft Office in different ways and potential users can get confused on which they need.

Notes:

1. All results are native geometry (lines, mtext, etc) and do not suffer the limitations of OLE.
2. Recipients of your drawings created with our tools do not need our application installed.
